Bachelor Nation can rejoice! Bachelorette is back on June 7th, which means your weekly get together with friends can commence! Of course, spills will happen from time to time but with a few common household products we can help you remove any potential wine staining from happening!

How to Remove Red Wine Stains from Carpet

Club Soda: First, blot the wine as well as you can with a clean and dry cloth. Next, pour club soda onto the spill and blot the area again with a clean and dry cloth. Repeat this step as much as needed until the stain has been removed.
Dish Soap: After blotting the area to remove as much of the wine as possible, apply a mixture of 1 tablespoon, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 2 cups of warm water. Blot the area with a clean cloth and repeat as needed.
Hydrogen Peroxide: Mix two parts hydrogen peroxide and one part dish soap. First, blot the area with a cloth to remove any standing liquid. Then, apply your premixed solution and blot with a cloth. This method may result in discoloration of your carpet/rug. Please test this solution prior to applying it to the fully stained area.
