New Hire Quick List

New hire packet completed (include copy of SS Card, Driver’s License, Green Card, ETC.)

Neat clean appearance required at all times, meaning: clothes clean, deodorant worn, hair clean & brushed/combed, clean shaven, nails trimmed & clean.

*If you are a smoker, you will need to have a fresh supply of mints & gum and body spray.  The customer should not be able to smell the smoke.

Attire:

Khakis, Shorts or Pants (khaki – knee length), Polo Style Shirt (navy or black, no advertisements or pictures),  Slip Resistant shoes or Tennis shoes & Back Belt.  Once you have been employed for an allotted time period you will receive 2 company logo shirts.  If you’d like additional shirts, there will be a $10 rental fee for each.  Once you have been given company shirts they must always be worn during work hours.  Shirts are required to be returned upon termination of employment. Remember, your clothes WILL GET DIRTY!

Tardiness & Days Off:

Tardiness is unacceptable.  If you find that you are however running late, it is important that you notify management ASAP.

To request a day(s) off, you must fill out a “Time-off Request” and turn it into the office.  It will at that time be reviewed by management and approved or disapproved.

Smoking Policy (in short):

There is to be NO SMOKING on customer property, company vehicles or in & behind warehouse!

Cell Phone Policy (in short):

Cell Phones are not allowed to be used during business hours unless communicating with the office or if there is an emergency.  If a phone call needs to be made, please keep it short and simple.  Same applies to text messaging.

We require every team member to be positive, encouraging, respectful, professional, pleasant, and to work as a team player and maintain a humble and honest attitude at ALL times.  Wear a SMILE!

Homebase:

Drug Policy:

We are a DRUG FREE work place.  At any time, we may request that a drug test be taken.

Additional Information:

30 mins will be deducted for lunches for a work day exceeding 6 hours.

You will be required to be at the shop Monday-Saturday at 8am sharp unless you receive a text the night before saying otherwise.

You will be required as a new hire to be on call after hours Monday-Sunday for emergency water remediation.  After the training period is over your on call hours will fluctuate.

Your “Training Period” is based on your learning curve.

If the Crew Chief you are working with ask you to fill out paperwork, be sure to have them review it for accuracy before they turn it in to the office.

It is your responsibly to help the Crew Chief keep company vans clean as well as work and waste areas.

Management may show up sporadically, unannounced, at a job site for an inspection.

If you need to change any of your personal information, you may obtain an “Information Change Request” form from the office.

If you are scheduled to clean a restaurant after hours or on a Sunday, you will get paid for working 3 hours even if you only work 1 or 2 hours.

If you are called to for a water damage after hours you will receive a $75 bonus on your next paycheck.

Please note that there is a 30-day trial period, however, after taking the position you feel that it is not for you, please inform us ASAP and there will be no hard feelings.  We understand that this line of work requires long hours, is strenuous, and not for everyone and we want you to be satisfied with the work you are performing.
